The untitled one

By C.Elizabeth

Today was a typical British day. Yes, you guessed, it was gray, wet, dull and chilly. Therefore, I had to dress accordingly as I met Andrew at a shopping area near his work (overtime!). We decided to start buying little presents for my family in Canada for when we go over in just under a month and a half. I always enjoy doing so!

Tomorrow, I'm going to make some Vegan brownies for the first time... I remember cooking brownies with my grandma when I was a little girl and it always was so much fun! Well, licking the spoon at the end was my favorite part actually. I will let you know how it goes and if I succeed, I will take some pictures.

Here are a few pictures of what I wore today. I feel the need to add that over the last few days, I had an allergic reaction to the medication I was on following a bad pneumonia... Therefore, my entire body was swollen. Despite the fact it's better now, I still look like a sumo fighter!

Oh goodness! I hope you're feeling better. It must have been terrible having a reaction like that.

Buying little presents for family is always fun. You must be excited about your trip home! :)

I've lived within an easy driving distance of Canada my entire life, but have never been. I think I'll remedy that with a road trip to Montreal. Sometime in the near future I'd also love to visit Nova Scotia and PEI. And, I really want to go to Alberta :)

You look perfectly cozy for a dreary English day. Your yellow blouse is lovely.

I love this look on you, the bow in your hair is so cute and the yellow is fanastic.

Hope the family present shopping goes well! I always buy very British things for my relatives in Hong Kong when we visit. It's just nice to buy things that they can't get over there right?

That blouse looks so beautiful :) Oooh and hope the brownie baking went fun. I always find baking far more enjoyable than the actual eating. Hope you're having a beautiful day!

This has made me think that I should buy more little presents for my family! Maybe i'll do it when I go away to university.

So sorry to hear you had a bad reaction to the medication, hope you will be fully recovered soon and feeling/looking like yourself again :)

Pretty, pretty outfit! If you look like that when you're having an allergic reaction, I think you should consider yourself a lucky girl, as I think you look wonderful :)

I love this outfit :D! You look wonderful. Are those shoes from Target, by chance? If they're the ones I think they are, I bought them last year and returned them, such regret :P!

Thank you for the kind words on my blog, too :)!
